One Day at Aquarium

Last week I went to the aquarium with my friends. This is my first time went to the aquarium in Vancouver. We drove a car to go to StanleyPark, however the weather was too bad. it was rainning with cold wind. That aquarium was not as big as my home town. But there are many kinds of marine animal which I liked very much. We watched an interesting dophine show and 4D movies. The movie gave me a deep impression. During the movie there are some water, bubbles and artificial snowing around the audiences. If you have some free time, go to the aquarium and have a good day.

Different Country & Different Culture

I come from China, I was born in China, I was grown up at China. However, I became an oversea student who came to Canada. When I arrived at Canada, I did not discover any different between China, except the weather. But after a period time living with native. I found there are lots of different between Canadian and Chinese. For food, it is so different. Canadian prefer to grill or frying their food. Like hold a BBQ party. But in China people prefer to boil or stir frying their food. When I first came to Canadian supermarket, I was amazing about too many kinds of condiments which included sweet, bitter and spicy for different styles of food. It is too hard to know how to use them in a right way. It is different with Chinese condiments; we just have some basic spices. I also found that in Canada is easy to put on weight. Because too many high calorie foods were intake everyday such as cookies, ice cream or cheese. If I eat Chinese food everyday I won not worry about this kind of things.

An Agreeable Saturday

This saturday I cooked my first dinner at Vancouver with my friends. On Saturday the weather is not good, there was no sunshine in the sky. Sometime the weather was rainning and cold. I took the sky train from my home to metrotown, I needed to bought some fresh vegetable and meat as materals. My friends and I decided to cook some traditional chinese food such as chicken wings, pork ribs, kidney bean, tofu and so on. When I finished shopping, the time is already 2 pm. At 2:40 I arrived at Peggy's home and started to prepare our dinner(maybe the time is too early). First of all, we washed those vagetable and cut the meat. The first dish is hotpot which included fish tofu, chinese cabbage, pork and needle mushroom. The soup of the hotpot taste yammy very much. Next we cooked the pork ribs and chicken wings. Until 4 O'clock we finished our dinner and start ate them. We all feel happiness when we enjoy our dinner.

Paranormal activity 2

Last night, I watched paranormal activity with my partner at Metrotown theater. I have saw the first part of  paranormal activity at last year. So I was so excited to watch that movie. This is a good horror movie, I highly recommend this one. Actually, the polt of this movie is ok. But it usually had some suddenly frightened which can make audiences feel panic. Audiences usually try them best to guess when the gost will come. So they usually feel nervous all the time. This one is different with first part, at the first there are only two people in the movie. In the second part there were whole family. Then ending of this movie was vary tragedy. If you think that you have enough brave to choose this movie, you can watch it with your friends. Never watch it by yourself. Be careful and enjoy it.

Classification of my friends

There are three important kinds of friends in my whole life. The first kind of friend who can help me on my study. When I have some questions on English, Math or other subjects, those kinds of friends could help me to solve the puzzles. Specifically, when I studied at high school I was not good at math. My friends gave me lots of suggestion at that time. They helped me did some review for that exercies. Therefore, I could pass these exams easily. The second kind of friend  who often paly with me. This kind of friends can bring me to some interesting places, such as go shopping, watch movies or find some recreating grounds. When I felt sad my friends usually bring me to those places and 'gave a good mood for me again'. The last kind of friends who are better than mine at each field, such as learning, personal tast and character. I could gain many knowledge from those kinds of friends. They told me how to keep a good relation with others; which kind of food would good for your health and so on. Those three kinds of friends are very important in my life. And I need them forever.

Short Introduction

Hello everybody!
This is my first using 'Blog'. I hope that I can learn how to use this blog as soon as possible.
I will give you an introduction concerning myself. I am a Chinese girl and my hometown is Beijing. I am 19 years-old. Last year, I stayed at Halifax(Nova scotia) for one year. I think Halifax is a good place for traveling. However, people will feel lonely in that city. This picture was taken at Halifax.

I have came to Vancouver around 2 months and I am studying at Douglas college. Actually I think the weather is better than Nova, population is more than Halifax, and shopping malls are bigger than Halifax. Anyway, I like Vancouver, BC. I will stay at this city more than four years.
